In September 2025, Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School opened its newly renovated Intensive Support Program (ISP) wing to accompany its significant program growth.
The Intensive Support Program has increased from eight to eighteen students in the span of a year. The ISP classrooms have been renovated to all Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) standards and compliances to meet the several needs of all students. The construction was done with the support of the supervising AODA Superintendent, Ms. Flora Cifelli.
Furthermore, all classrooms are wheelchair accessible, and renovations included two newly fully functional washrooms, kitchen, automatic functional doors, bathing area, quiet rooms and dimmable lightening .
The ISP students and Staff at Father Henry Carr are extremely excited and looking forward to servicing the community with their new space!
