On Tuesday, September 30, Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School hosted its second annual Grade 9 Advanced Placement (AP) Orientation. Grade 9 students spent the morning learning about the AP program and taking part in fun team-building activities led by Grade 12 AP mentors.

They also heard from two recent graduates who shared their experiences with AP courses and exams, the benefits of learning in an enriched classroom, and the post-secondary opportunities available through the program.

With growing enrolment in Grade 9 AP, Father Henry Carr looks forward to continuing to expand the program. The school is proud to be designated as the only TCDSB Regional Centre for the Congregated Advanced Placement Program in North Etobicoke.
