This season, the Early Bird Showcase featured a series of 12 exciting exhibition games, showcasing the talent and determination of our student-athletes.
Father Henry Carr (FHC) Senior Prep faced challenges due to a few injuries but displayed incredible resilience in all three games. Without starting forward Adrian A., the Crusaders fell 92-72 to King Heights. After losing Dre'Kel C., they bounced back with a 99-87 victory over BCP Provincial and then secured an 84-79 win against JCM Prep.
FHC Junior Prep (Grade 10s) played a thrilling match, narrowly losing 86-84 to Orangeville Prep Varsity (Grade 11s) before rebounding strongly with a decisive 96-61 victory over Kings Court.
FHC Freshman Prep (Grade 9s) fought hard but ultimately fell 82-62 to Kings Court.
Our student volunteers were phenomenal, supporting the event at the scorer's table, entrances, exits, and in the cafeteria.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the fans, cheerleaders, student and staff volunteers, Administration, and custodians, whose dedication helped make this prestigious event a success.
Looking ahead, FHC will host the 2025 Junior Crusader Prep Classic from October 30 to November 1, 2025.
