Father Henry Carr students, under the leadership of the school Administration, Vince Pileggi and the Black Student Association have been working towards assisting with hurricane Melissa relief initiatives to support those affected in Jamaica.
In November, the school raised $1000 and began a collection of non-perishable food items that were to be donated to the Jamaican Canadian Association located in Rexdale and close proximity to the school.
On Friday November 28, 2025, representatives of the Jamaican Canadian Association attended Father Henry Carr to accept the school donation and non-perishable foods.
