Father Henry Carr is celebrating the ongoing support and community impact of alumnus and PREP Basketball sponsor Dillon Brooks. While Brooks continues to make headlines in the NBA, the focus at FHC is on the meaningful ways he gives back to his former school and the Rexdale community.
Over the past year, Brooks partnered with the school principal and his former coach, Paul Melnik, to help revitalize FHC’s prestigious PREP Basketball Program through renewed sponsorships and resources. His commitment has strengthened opportunities for student-athletes and helped reinforce Carr’s long-standing reputation as a leader in high-performance basketball.
In recognition of his dedication, Dillon Brooks was named the 2025 Toronto Catholic District School Board Alumni Award recipient for his contributions to Father Henry Carr and the broader community.
FHC is proud to call Dillon Brooks an alumnus and looks forward to hosting the second annual Dillon Brooks Cup in March 2026—an event that continues to inspire current students and honour the legacy he continues to build.
