Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School proudly hosted Days 3 and 4 of its 2nd Annual Elementary Crusader Classic Basketball Tournaments throughout the month of February, welcoming young athletes from across the community for an exciting showcase of talent and sportsmanship.

In total, 24 elementary schools—12 girls’ teams and 12 boys’ teams—competed over the four-day tournament. Spots filled quickly, as teams and coaches were eager to provide meaningful competition to help prepare their athletes for the upcoming playoff season.

The tournament proved to be a tremendous success, offering elementary student-athletes the opportunity to participate in a well-organized, high school–level athletic event. The championship games featured impressive performances, with two teams ultimately battling their way to victory. St. Francis de Sales claimed the Girls Basketball Tournament title on Friday, February 20, while St. Jude captured the Boys Basketball Tournament championship on Tuesday, February 24.

The event was made possible through the leadership and support of Father Henry Carr student leaders and student-athletes, who helped facilitate the tournament and create a positive and welcoming environment for all participants.

Father Henry Carr looks forward to continuing this tradition and supporting elementary school athletic experiences within the community for years to come.
