During the week of March 9, 2026, Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School once again hosted its Newcomer Orientation Program events.
The Newcomer Orientation Program, designed to welcome newly arrived students and help them feel comfortable and confident in their new school environment, took place on March 10 and 11.
During the program, students learned about school routines and procedures, met new friends, and were introduced to free services available to them both at school and in the community.
The program also provided students with an opportunity to ask questions, build connections, and feel more prepared as they begin their new journey in their school community.
The program is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
