On Wednesday, May 29, the Father Henry Carr Track and Field team competed in the John Rowland Games held at Centennial, delivering a number of outstanding performances.
The meet was highlighted by strong results from two Grade 9 sprinters:
Daniel T., who placed 1st in the 100m
Prince D., who placed 2nd in the 100m
Additional notable results include:
Sarina F., who placed 3rd in the 100m hurdles
Tristan B., who placed 2nd in both Senior Boys High Jump and Long Jump
Joshua K., who placed 2nd in Junior Boys Shot Put
Azalea, who placed 3rd in Junior Girls Long Jump
The Novice Boys 4x100m relay team—Jalen B., Prince D., E.J., Tobi A., and Daniel T.—finished 3rd despite a challenging exchange. Notably, this group of Grade 9 athletes is currently ranked #1 in the province.
