Father Henry Carr is pleased to share the results from the Colts Classic, held yesterday at Bill Crothers. With over 50 schools in attendance, the level of competition was extremely high. Despite the cold and rainy weather throughout the day, making conditions far from ideal, our athletes continued to perform at an exceptional level.
Much of our season has also been less than favourable from a training standpoint. Without a track of our own, our athletes have faced significant challenges this year, with practices often taking place in hallways and on small patches of grass. Needless to say, we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments, resilience, and dedication.
A special congratulations goes out to our Novice Boys team, who captured Gold in the 4x100m relay. Mr. Malfitano graciously gave the Novice Boys permission to wear civvies today in celebration of their achievement. This team continues to prove themselves, remaining ranked #1 in Ontario.
