On November 30 (Thursday), the Marshall McLuhan Choir traveled to St. Joseph's Morrow Park Catholic Secondary School for a day of collaborative singing with the St. Joseph's Morrow Park Choir. The day began with the two choirs meeting for the first time and singing together.

The two choirs joined together and sang pieces that they had been learning in their respective schools, worked together to improve their pieces and learn from each other. Both groups were able to learn from each other and grow as singers.

After lunch the groups sang for each other and gave feedback on their work in progress pieces and gave helpful advice to improve their performance. Also, students were given a brand new piece that none of the students had seen before, and workshopped it together.

Finally, at the end of the day we did a showcase performance for some students, teachers and Mr. Di Millo (Vice Principal) and Ms. Leone (Principal).

Mr. Mertinz, Ms. Kinghorn and Ms. Sookram are incredibly proud of the efforts and work the students put in throughout the day. This is part one of a two part learning experience. In the new year, the St. Joseph's Morrow Park Choir will travel to Marshall McLuhan and collaborate once again!
