Chaplain Mrs. Izzo has been enthusiastically encouraging the school community to “get COSY” in support of unhoused and runaway youth served by Covenant House Toronto.
Through the COSY (Cozy Socks for Youth) campaign, the Maroon Brigade has been actively spreading awareness, raising funds, and collecting new socks for at-risk young people. Socks are one of the most requested—and least available—items in shelters, making this initiative a simple yet meaningful way to make a difference.
As part of the campaign, students also hosted a bake sale to support the fundraising effort and help fill donation bags with thousands of pairs of new socks.
The COSY campaign reminds us that one single item can have a powerful impact. Warm feet, warm hearts!
