Students at Monsignor Fraser College's Annex Campus have been working collaboratively across our Visual Arts and Fashion programs to create a vibrant Christmas Showcase for our school community. Through hands-on learning, they explored creativity, craftsmanship, and design while building new artistic and technical skills.

In Visual Arts, students created an impressive Nativity scene, constructing each figure entirely from scratch. Beginning with armatures and progressing through clay sculpting and mixed-media detailing, they brought each character to life with remarkable care and precision.

In Fashion, students designed festive ornaments and personalized stockings inspired by the designer brands studied in class. To celebrate community and connection, they also collaborated on a Christmas quilt, with each square uniquely created around a holiday theme. These hands-on projects integrated creativity, research, and design thinking, allowing students to explore the ways in which fashion intersects with culture, history, sustainability, and innovation.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit demonstrated by our Monsignor Fraser Annex students. Their Christmas Showcase is a meaningful celebration of learning, community, and artistic expression across the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB)!
