Our School
About Us
At St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School, we pride ourselves on the strong partnership that exists among the home, the school and the parish.
Catholic Environment
Our school fosters a learning environment rooted in Gospel values and Catholic teachings. Religious Education and Family Life programs, approved by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, are taught at all grade levels. Students live their faith through liturgical celebrations, daily prayer, Christian actions, food drives, ShareLife campaigns, and Me to We initiatives.
Safe and Welcoming Environment
We are committed to providing a safe and inviting school atmosphere. Students follow a code of conduct that promotes safety and respect both inside the school and on the playground. Our Safe Arrival Program ensures student safety through parent communication regarding absences.

School History
St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic School opened in September 1973. With a tradition of growth, academic excellence, and commitment spanning over 50 years, our school community continues to live by the teachings and ideals of our patron saint.
Our Patron Saint
Our school is named after St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuit order. Following his conversion, he dedicated his life to teaching, preaching, helping others, and spreading the faith.
Canonized in 1622, St. Ignatius is remembered as one of the Church’s great spiritual leaders.
