For the second consecutive year, the Leadership and Empowerment Team at St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School organized the Poppy Project. Students were invited to paint a poppy that was later displayed on the school grounds to represent one fallen Canadian soldier.

The Poppy Project was a great way to get students and staff in a commemorative spirit, and to raise awareness about the enormity of the casualties of war.
We appreciate their ultimate sacrifices.

Let Them Rest in Peace!
