The St. Joseph's College School Choir and Chamber Orchestra, in collaboration with the school’s Chaplaincy Department, led SJCS’s second annual Festival of Lessons and Carols. "Lessons and Carols" is a Christian service of worship that consists of nine short Bible readings interspersed with carols, hymns, and choir anthems. SJCS presented a condensed sacred service consisting of five lessons that combined five readings (lessons) from the Bible with the singing of carols to tell the story of Christmas, from the fall of humanity to the birth of Jesus. Distinguished alumni joined current students at St. Basil's Church on Thursday, December 4, performing a variety of Christmas carols in an elegant evening filled with tradition, uniting the past, present, and future of St. Joseph’s College School.
