On Thursday, April 9, St. Joseph's College School was pleased to welcome Mason Doering for a beach volleyball workshop that provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn from a high-performance athlete.

Mason’s accomplishments include representing Team Canada (U19) in international competition, competing at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships, winning a Beach Volleyball World Qualifier, and being named Volleyball Alberta Beach Athlete of the Year (2024). He has also represented Team Alberta at multiple age levels and is currently a student-athlete with the York University Lions.

Mason shared his expertise through a series of skill-building drills and competitive play, while also offering insight into the discipline, teamwork, and mindset required to succeed at the elite level. His engagement with students was both informative and inspiring, leaving a meaningful impact on all participants.

St. Joseph’s College School extends its sincere appreciation to Mason for sharing his time and expertise with our students. We would also like to thank Coaches Mr. Chiappetta, Ms. Doyle, Ms. Amaral, and Mr. Fava for their dedication and efforts in organizing this enriching experience.
