The St. Joseph's College School Music Ensembles made their debut at this year's 39th Annual Pickering Rotary Music Festival on Tuesday, May 26. The school was represented by six ensembles that included the Grade 10 Concert Band, Grade 11/12 Chamber Winds, Wind Ensemble, Choir, String Ensemble, and Chamber Orchestra. All the ensembles gave wonderful performances, earning a total of two Gold and four Silver Awards. The festival was musically enriching with excellent adjudication, emphasizing collaborative music-making, which resulted in building a greater sense of community.
