Senior Music students from St. Joseph’s Morrow Park recently returned from an unforgettable performance trip to New York City, highlighted by a live performance aboard the historic aircraft carrier and museum, the USS Intrepid.

The group explored many of Manhattan’s iconic landmarks, including Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial, the New York Public Library, and the Empire State Building. They also attended Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and visited the Museum of Modern Art. A special evening at the Cotton Club in Harlem included dinner and dancing.

A standout moment was attending Broadway’s Hadestown, followed by a workshop led by members of the cast and music directors, where students learned music and choreography from the show.

The trip wrapped up with sightseeing, shopping around Rockefeller Plaza, and soaking in the lights and energy of Times Square.

A heartfelt thank you to music teachers Mr. Stepanian, Mr. Digiannatale, and Ms. Kinghorn for organizing a safe, fun, and enriching experience. The memories—and music—will last a lifetime!
