The St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School students attended The Black girls Restoring, Affirming and Valuing Each Other (BRAVE) conference with our Graduation Coaches for Black Students. They discussed the empowerment of Black girls, changing the narrative of what it means to be a brave girl, honing on empowerment & motivation, supporting the Equity Action Plan Priority of Dismantling Anti-Black Racism, and provided a platform for Black girls to share their lived experiences while building allyship and belonging.
