At St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School, Mr. Engel’s Grade 12 classes took charge of an anti-bullying awareness campaign, starting the preparation at the end of October. They did this by setting research themes and collecting statistics found by conducting surveys around the school. The classes were organized into four separate groups: film, activities, promotion, and presentation. Every group was crucial to the success of this project and it needed collaboration, communication and hard work. Using the theme from Pixar's Inside Out movies, they made sure to promote this upcoming event using tools such as announcements and social media in the first week of December. Two presentations were conducted for the Grade 9 students and activities took place during the week at lunch to engage the school and share their findings.
