St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School's Joel S. qualified for the 2026 Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) U-17 Qualifiers, with 34 participating CONCACAF Member Associations set to begin their journey towards qualification for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup. This soccer competition, CONCACAF 2026, will be held in South America. He will play three countries as qualifiers (Panama, Curaçao, Haiti) advancing to the inter-confederation playoffs. The preceding CONCACAF qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup involved 32 teams.
