St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School recently hosted its annual arts showcase, Arts Alive. The long-running event celebrates student talent through singing, dancing, poetry, visual arts, and music.
This year’s showcase featured performances by Romero’s Elite Band, as well as the school’s dance and cheer teams. The show also included performances by two rock bands, several student vocalists, and a spoken word poet.
The auditorium was filled with energy and excitement for the afternoon performance, while an additional morning show welcomed several enthusiastic students from local Toronto Catholic District School Board elementary schools.
Guests were also able to enjoy the striking decorations and displays created by Romero’s visual arts classes, which helped transform the space and highlight the creativity of the school community.
The St. Oscar Romero Arts Department extends its thanks to all the performers, staff members, and students whose hard work and dedication helped make this year’s Arts Alive showcase a great success. The school community looks forward to another outstanding show next year.
