The St. Oscar Romero Catholic Secondary School Beach Volleyball team delivered an outstanding performance at the Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute Annual Beach Tournament, held at Ashbridges Bay Beach. Competing through both freezing and beautifully warm weather conditions, Romero athletes demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and skill throughout the tournament.
Nine Romero teams competed, with six teams finishing first in their respective pools. By the end of the competition, Romero captured three championship titles, two finalist finishes, one semifinal finish, and three quarterfinal finishes.
A very special congratulations goes out to Romero’s first-ever Beach Volleyball gold medalists in their respective divisions. Congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding tournament performance!
