Special Education

The Special Education Department welcomes students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP). Services are provided to students who are formally identified through an Identification, Placement and Review Committee (IPRC), those awaiting identification, and those who have had an IEP recommended through a Case Conference or School Based Support Learning Team (SBSLT).

These exceptional students receive support and accommodations through both the Special Education staff as well as their classroom teachers as designated by their IEP.

Each student with an IEP is assigned a Special Education Monitoring Teacher each year who oversees the annual IEP review and who meets regularly with students to review progress.
