Communications Technology (Cyber-Arts)

The Communications Technology program students the opportunity to experience a variety of digital disciplines through project – based curricula. We strive to offer the best possible curriculum with the intent to maximize students' creative potential.

We make every effort to continuously update our curriculum to mirror current technology trends so that our students acquire skills that will always be industry standard in the areas of graphic design, desktop publishing, digital photography, web page design, game design, animation, and TV-video and film production.

We will also endeavour to continue developing educational partnerships with companies such as Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Think3, with the intent of further enhancing Cyber-Arts at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts.

Computer Science

The Information Technology courses focuses on the design of technological information systems, including computing systems, as solutions to business and research data and communications support needs.

It includes instruction in the principles of computer hardware and software components, robotics, algorithms, databases, telecommunications, user tactics, application testing, and human interface design.
