St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy swept the 2022 Your ChARTer creative arts contest, which invited Ontario students to submit original pieces of work that represent the core principles and meaning of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Kimberly G., Khadija A. and Pabitha C. of SJOA won first, second and third place respectively in the Secondary Schools section of the competition. With over 100 elementary and secondary school students from across Ontario participating in the creative arts competition, our three SJOA students were able to rise above the rest.
Congratulations, girls! A big thank you also goes out to their teacher Ms. Luisa Fracassi, a 2022 Governor General’s History Award winner, who played an integral role supporting the students.
