On June 6, 2025 (Friday), St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy's Jonathan and Nathaniel M. competed in the 2025 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Track & Field championships for the 100m sprint, committed to continuing their success from Metros Championship, where Jonathan set a Birchmount Stadium track record and personal best of 12:06.
With 22 competitive runners in the OFSAA 100m preliminaries at York University and only 8 spots for the final, Jonathan progressed to the finals and placed third to climb the podium with a time of 12:39. Congratulations to both Johnathan and Nathaniel for a very successful 2025 Track & Field season.
The Mavericks community is also very proud of Chidera E. with her final shot-put throw of 9.9metres at Metro Championships for senior girls. With only two years of experience, Chidera has shown what grit and grace can look like.
