Throughout the month of October, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy dedicated its focus to pathways planning through a variety of activities, presentations, workshops, and fairs. Students explored post-secondary opportunities including university, college, skilled trades, and apprenticeship pathways. They participated in sessions featuring the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP), Skilled Trades, and the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM).

Representatives from Toronto Police Services, Toronto Paramedic Services, LIUNA Local 183, Ontario Transfer, Skills Ontario, and ApprenticeshipSearch.com visited the school to share valuable insights into their fields. Students also received information about Dual Credit programs, School Within a College (SWAC), Co-op placements, bursaries, scholarships, and community involvement hours.

It was a meaningful month of learning and discovery as students gained knowledge to support their future pathway planning.

Sincere appreciation is extended to our Guidance Team, presenters, staff, and community partners for their support in making this initiative a success.
