For the third year in a row, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Academy students, along with some parents, volunteered at the Holly Jolly Fun Run in support of the 121st year of the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. The run is a 5 km race that takes place along the parade route prior to the start of the parade.
The SJOA student volunteers, in support of their community service hours, assisted with marshalling, cheering, bag checking, medal distribution, snack tables, water stations, and bringing loads of energy to the event. This year's race had over 2,000 runners making their way through the streets of downtown Toronto in festive attire, with hundreds of thousands of spectators cheering them on.
