On June 4, the Cardinal Carter Senior Woodwind Quintet traveled to the Niagara region and competed in the highest-level Kiwanis Music Competition. The Quintet earned the 2nd place finish at this event in a fiercely competitive environment amongst 8 other accomplished opponents.
Congratulations goes also to the Cardinal Carter Jazz Band and student-led Jazz Combo who came FIRST at the Kiwanis Provincial Finals, which was announced on June 9. All three groups were selected to represent Ontario at the provincial level based on their performance in the Toronto area Kiwanis. These are amazing achievements which the students can be very proud of.
