Congratulations to Sojun K., a Grade 11 student from Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, for his outstanding achievement on this year’s Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC) from the University of Waterloo’s Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing. Due to his stellar performance, Sojun was invited to apply to participate in the 61st annual Lloyd Auckland Invitational Mathematics Workshop at the University of Waterloo.
The Lloyd Auckland Invitational Mathematics Workshop is an annual week-long program for high-achieving students from the CEMC’s Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest, providing an enriching experience to deepen their mathematical problem-solving skills. This workshop is an incredible opportunity for students with an interest in math to network with talented math students from across Canada, as well as with faculty members and students from the University of Waterloo. Sojun has been a strong leader in the school, promoting mathematics and problem-solving skills among interested students.
