The Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts Music Department is eagerly looking forward to their upcoming European Music Tour to Budapest, Vienna, and the Czech Republic. They will perform a collaborative concert on March 12 in Budapest, alongside the St. Stephen Music Specialty High School's wind ensemble, string orchestra and combined choir. On March 13, they will give a public concert of chamber music in the historic Joseph Haydn Hall at the Eszterházy Castle.

Following a tour of musically famous historical sights in Vienna, Austria, the group of 95 Carter students from Grades 10 to 12 will travel to Hradec Králové where they will perform with the Bishop School's Squadra Risonante Choir of Hradec Králové at the town's Philharmonic Hall. The 10-day trip will include many exciting highlights where students will learn about the history and culture of Budapest, Vienna and Prague, three major cities that are considered the musical crown jewels of Central Europe.

The musical collaborations will provide the CCAA music students with incredible musical and personal experiences, and we are grateful to the parents and the CCAA administration for their support. A huge appreciation goes to Pál Makovecz and Jiří Vojáček, the two headmasters of the schools we are collaborating with in Budapest, Hungary and Hradec Králové, Czechia.
