We are proud to present the video performance created by our Black History Everyday (BHE) club at Michael Power - St. Joseph High School to celebrate Black History Month 2024.
The BHE club collaborates within the school to deliver presentations to staff and students. Our students invest six months of their time to spotlight topics often overlooked. Annually, the assembly adopts a theme. This year, the theme of "Identity!" was selected. We dig into our essence, embracing both positive and negative aspects. Above all, we celebrate the joys of Blackness, illuminating the shadows cast upon the Black community.
