On April 9, Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Justice, Community Services, and Emergency Services students from Michael Power–St. Joseph Catholic High School participated in a Sector Partnered Experience at Vantage Law, facilitated by Y2 Entrepreneurship Labs.

Vantage Law is committed to delivering service excellence to their clients and partners in the areas of real estate law, private lending, and corporate law. They also provide notary public services. Y2 Entrepreneurship Labs empowers students through their organization and facilitation of experiential, hands-on learning programs that help students build problem-solving skills for the real world.

This immersive experience provided students with the opportunity to engage in a real-world legal case study, encouraging them to think critically through a legal lens while clearly articulating and justifying their conclusions.

In addition to the case study, students had the opportunity to tour the firm and hear directly from legal professionals about their educational journeys and career pathways within the legal field. These insights offered valuable perspective and served to further inspire our students who are considering careers in the justice sector.

Our sincere thanks to Lucas Chang at Y2 Entrepreneurship Labs and Alessandra Ocampo and her team at the Vantage Law Firm for their generous hospitality and for providing a meaningful, enriching, and impactful learning experience for our students.
