On October 30, St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School hosted our fourth Coffeehouse, transforming the Alumni Learning Commons (Library) into a local café. Coffeehouse is a talent showcase organized by the Music Department, featuring a variety of student-led performances including vocalists, pianists, guitarists, rock and jazz bands.
This month’s event also highlighted the work of the Drama Department, with skits, monologues, and a creative tableaux. Adding to the evening, students of the Hospitality Department created a selection of Halloween-themed desserts, while members of the Tabletop Club brought an extra layer of fun with board games for everyone to enjoy.
The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere allowed students to enjoy great music, play fun games, delicious treats, and celebrate the talents of SJPII. The Music Department now begins to focus on preparing for the Christmas Concert on December 11 and the next Coffeehouse in the New Year!
