Officers from the Toronto Police Service Men’s Basketball Team visited the JP Jungle on Monday to take on members of St. John Paul II Catholic Secondary School’s Junior and Senior Boys Basketball teams.
Fresh off their Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) championship and semi-final berth, respectively, the Panthers were eager to represent their school one more time this season. The exhibition game showcased impressive talent, sportsmanship, and school spirit, while strengthening positive connections between students and community partners.
With plenty of Panther pride — and pizza to share — the event was a memorable celebration of teamwork and community at St. John Paul II.
A special thank you to Community Officer Leigh for organizing this exciting opportunity and helping bring the game to life.
