Materials Management Department
Welcome to the Toronto Catholic District School Board’s (TCDSB) Materials Management website.
The Materials Management Department is responsible for the general oversight of the organization and administration of the procurement function within the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
Consistent with the Board’s Purchasing Policy and Public Sector best practices, Materials Management Department will:
  • Source goods and services through a competitive bidding process that is open, fair and transparent to ensure equal treatment without preference.
  • Purchase goods and services at the lowest possible cost giving due consideration to service, quality and suitability in addition to price.
  • Maximize the financial resources and aggregate buying power of the Board.
  • Initiate and maintain effective contractual relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement compliance with the Supply Chain Guidelines, provincial trade agreements and any other the legislative requirements.
  • To dispose of surplus, obsolete/non functional equipment as required.
