TCDSB Business and Partnership Development Department

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) Business and Partnership Development Department helps define, shape and advance the interests and values of the TCDSB in a complex business environment. It identifies, cultivates and manages strategic relationships that drive business growth and innovation. It leads TCDSB’s system-wide business and partnership development, strategic alliance and joint venture efforts. It also contributes to identifying and advancing new opportunities to drive growth, sustainability, and impact.

Under the leadership of the Associate Director of Corporate Services and Chief Commercial Officer, the TCDSB Business and Partnership Development Department is responsible for advancing TCDSB’s business relations, including:

  • developing and implementing higher-value partnerships.

  • fostering the development of new relationships with organisations to increase the opportunity for impactful collaboration.

  • managing ongoing partnerships to enhance growth.

  • overseeing and providing support to TCDSB’s system-wide partnerships.

The department’s mandate is derived from TCDSB Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYSP), which reflects its priorities, strategic directions and strategic goals.

To achieve its objectives, the department collaborates with a wide range of partners ranging from the private sector, public institutions and non-profit organizations to combine their strengths, resources, perspective, knowledge, and networks to solve a shared challenge or seize a new opportunity effectively in alignment with TCDSB’s mission, vision, and policies and procedures and Catholic values.

TCDSB partnerships also exist within, and across, many sectors and include individuals, businesses, interest-based organizations, post-secondary institutions, governments and community organizations.

Community Planning and Partnerships
