Brebeuf College School's Junior Boys Soccer team had an incredible season in which history was made. After narrowly losing last year's Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA) Tier II Final, we set a goal of returning to the Final in 2025. The team finished the season with an astounding record of 11 wins, 2 ties, and only one loss, scoring 12 goals and conceding only two goals in 14 games played. Our team adopted what is called "The Hive Mentality," where each one of us played a specific role to reach our goal collectively. Led by our captain Julian F., the team played every game with a strong defensive effort supplemented with beautiful goals.

We started the season positively by winning the McGuigan Invitational and bringing home a trophy! This galvanized the team and gave us the belief that we could go all the way. After defeating Father John Redmond Catholic Secondary School and St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School in the TDCAA quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively, we advanced to our second consecutive Final to face Neil McNeil High School at Monarch Park Stadium. It was a fiercely fought contest in which both teams were pushed to the limits. It was Brebeuf that prevailed, with goals from brothers Kamil and Ander M., to win 2–0 and claim our first-ever TDCAA Soccer Championship for Brebeuf!

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the season. It was quite memorable, and from a coach’s perspective, it was the best group of students I have ever had the pleasure of coaching. Truly a blessed group of young men with a bright future ahead of them!
