A special congratulations goes to our Brebeuf and Brebeuf-mentored robotics teams — 24418 Canoe, 18846 Brebotics, and our sister team 27631 Bewitched from St. Joseph’s Morrow Park — on their outstanding performances at the Central Scarborough Tournament on Saturday, November 22.
Canoe, Brebeuf's junior team mentored by Brebotics, held strong throughout the round robin, finishing 4th and earning the role of alliance captain, ultimately placing 5th overall.
Brebotics overcame early technical issues, surged to 3rd after the round robin, and went on to win the tournament, earn the Inspire Award (the event’s highest honor), and secure the #1 advancement spot to the Provincial Finals—one of only two teams to move on. Our sister team Bewitched, mentored by Brebotics, finished 12th but earned the prestigious Think Award for their exceptional presentation and team journal.
Canoe and BeWitched will have a second opportunity to vie for a spot at the Provincial finals at their 2nd qualifier on February 7 at the Central Toronto tournament.
Go teams!
