Brebeuf College School is proud to congratulate the BreBuddies 68710 FIRST LEGO Robotics Team on winning the Motivate Award at the David and Mary Thomson Scarborough Qualifier.
BreBuddies is a community team made up of elementary students from schools across the Greater Toronto Area. They are mentored by Brebeuf College’s own Robotics Team 18846 Brebotics. Many of these students were introduced to robotics through the summer and after-school camps hosted by our FIRST FTC Robotics team Brebotics 18846 and Brebeuf STEM students, where their enthusiasm for the FIRST LEGO League Challenge began.
The Motivate Award recognizes teams that exemplify FIRST’s Core Values through infectious enthusiasm, strong team spirit, and outstanding teamwork. It celebrates teams that foster inclusivity, collaboration, and inspiration in STEM, impacting their community beyond technical skill alone.
