Congratulations to a special class with a 91% average at Brebeuf College School. Mr. Ryan’s Enriched MCV 4UP class is one of the only first semester Calculus courses in Ontario that have their final grades ready for university acceptance. These twenty-six remarkable Grade 12 students were able to complete all first-year university Calculus #1 and Calculus #2 courses and then went on to also finish second-year Calculus #3 completely. The class was able to visit a Calculus #3 class at York University and sit in on a lecture discussing triple integrals in cylindrical coordinates, a topic that they had already covered in class. The professor was extremely impressed with their knowledge and came to speak with them after class to give insights into future endeavors in mathematics. These very hard-working men have a bright future in front of them, and I look forward to hearing about their accomplishments as they embark upon post secondary education. Well done, men!
