Last week, Brebeuf College School and St. Joseph's Morrow Park Catholic Secondary School hosted students from École de Provence, a Jesuit-endorsed school in Marseille, France. Since September, Brebeuf and SJMP students in the French program have been participating in Zoom calls with students from Marseille. Both groups aimed to strengthen their linguistic abilities while exploring each other’s cultures.
The students from École de Provence were in Ontario for ten days. During their visit, students participated in a guided tour of Graffiti Alley with a focus on social justice. The following day, students from École de Provence shadowed Brebeuf and SJMP students in their classes. Students were fascinated by the scholastic differences between the two countries. Finally, Brebeuf hosted a farewell celebration where many more memories were created.
