Congratulations to Francis Libermann Catholic High School student Emily T. on earning 2nd place in the 15–18 Videography Category at the 2026 YRE Canada National Competition for her EcoSchools submission, Climate Isn’t Just Weather: It’s a Food Crisis.
Through video, photography, and writing, youth across the country explored environmental issues affecting their communities and shared powerful stories to raise awareness and inspire action. Emily’s thoughtful and impactful work stood out on the national stage and highlights the importance of student voice in environmental advocacy.
