On October 8–9, 72 dedicated Madonna Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) participated in a two-day retreat at Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre. During the experience, students successfully completed certifications in Leadership and Conflict Resolution—key components of their SHSM pathways.
In addition to their formal learning, students engaged in outdoor team-building activities, explored nature, and developed a strong sense of community. A highlight of the trip was a Halloween-themed costume party around the campfire!
The overnight was big fun and a great success, a perfect mix of experiential learning with meaningful connections—an experience students won’t soon forget.
