Last week Madonna Catholic Secondary School students in the Grade 12 Chemistry class welcomed Madonna students in the Intensive Support Program (ISP) for a hands-on science experience — making silly putty!

The senior Chemistry students had just completed a unit on chemical polymers and were eager to share their learning by demonstrating how this everyday, stretchy substance is a real-world example of polymer science.

The classroom was filled with laughter, teamwork, and creativity as students from both classes worked together to mix, measure, and experiment. The activity not only reinforced key scientific concepts but also created a meaningful opportunity for inclusion, leadership, and friendship.
