On Wednesday, December 17, students in Madonna Catholic Secondary School's Leadership and Religion Leadership classes participated in their annual holiday tradition of service and skating. The students donated homemade baked goods to the Good Shepherd Ministries on Queen Street in downtown Toronto to be used in their daily meal service to Toronto's unhoused community, which serves more than 1000 hot meals per day. The goods are also being used for members of the Queen East community drop in food bank.

After lunch at the Eaton Centre, the students headed to Nathan Phillips Square for some festive skating in celebration of their hard work and commitment to being active agents of change demonstrating their learning in their leadership classes and passion for social justice.

We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2026!
