Each year, YZD (Northcrest Development) invites the Madonna Catholic Secondary School community for a much-anticipated winter tradition: the Madonna Community Ice Skate. Friday, January 9, marked the first of two skating sessions, and it was a huge success, with 50 students hitting the ice and enjoying an afternoon of fun, music, and community spirit.
The excitement isn’t over yet! The second skate is set to take place this Friday, January 16, from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM, and students are encouraged to come out and join the fun.
YZD generously provides music, free skate rentals, free skating lessons, and complimentary hot chocolate and snacks, making the event welcoming and accessible to all. Madonna staff and students bring the energy, laughter, and school spirit that truly make the event special.
