The National Theatre School (NTS) Drama Festival at Madonna Catholic Secondary School was a stunning showcase of youthful creativity and professional-grade talent. Madonna delivered an emotionally resonant and deep precise character performance of DANNY, KING OF THE BASEMENT that kept the audience enthralled.

Danny, King of the Basement by David S. Craig is a play about Danny, a 10-year-old who is frequently moving with his mother to new, often cramped, basement apartments. Using his imagination, Danny builds a sense of community and stability, helping his neighbors cope with their own, often emotional, problems, while navigating his own life. James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School brought a Cast of 40+ students and shared high-energy performance of an adapted version of PETER PAN.
