Laudato Si' Week
Laudato Si’ Week began as a way to celebrate the first anniversary of Pope Francis’ papal encyclical letter, “Laudato Si’: On Care For Our Common Home.”
Since then, the annual celebration has become a way for all Catholics to unite and rejoice in the progress we’ve made in bringing Laudato Si’ to life, and to commit ourselves to further prayer and action for our common home.

Laudato Si' Week 2026
Laudato Si' Week 2026 will be celebrated from May 17 to 24. This year's theme is "From Hope to Action", as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of this landmark encyclical. We are called to "move from hope to action. Hope is not passive; it is lived and shared through daily choices, community life, prayer, and concrete acts of care." (Laudato Si' Week official website).
